Annual Auction

What Can You Contribute to the Annual Auction?

The d.tech Annual Auction will take place in the spring and our goal this year is to raise $15,000, but we need your help to do this!

We are looking for items for our Live Auction and our Online Auction. 
Here are the things we’re seeking: 

  • Vacation homes:  Do you have a house in the Lake Tahoe area, Hawaii, New Orleans, Whistler, Palm Springs, San Diego, Puerto Vallarta or any other destination getaway area? Can you donate a week-long stay or a long weekend?

  • Sports tickets and suites: Do you have season tickets to one of our many Bay Area teams (49ers, BayFC, SJ Earthquakes, SFGiants, Valkyries, Warriors)? Can you donate tickets or a suite?

  • Exercise packages: Do you or someone you know own a pilates or yoga studio, or are you a personal trainer and can donate a week long training session?

  • Money-can’t-buy experiences: Is there something amazing that you can donate that money couldn’t buy? Examples: a backstage opportunity to do a meet and greet with the Hamilton cast? Special seats behind the judges at the filming of the Voice? Opportunity to go on the field with the Giants while they warm up? 

  • Hotel stays: Do you work for a hotel and can donate nights at hotels across the country?

  • Electronics: Do you work for a company that offers items teens love like GoPro, iPads, video games, etc.?

  • Wine-tasting excursions and tours: Do you work for a winery or have a connection and can get a unique tour or tasting? 

  • Restaurant gift certificates: The Bay Area is chock-full of amazing restaurants! Is there one you love and can ask for a gift certificate donation for our auction? 

  • Professional services: Are you a career coach, a college counselor, or a home organization professional? Can you donate certificates or packages of your services?

  • Access to golf and tennis: Are you a member of a golf or tennis club and can donate Tee Times or lessons? 

  • Theater tickets: Do you have season tickets to BroadwaySF or Broadway San Jose that you can donate?

Note about donations: In keeping with IRS regulations, only cash donations made to our Koi Pond Annual Fund are 100% tax-deductible. Design Tech High School is happy to provide an in-kind acknowledgement letter for your physical donation.
